Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician with a strong background in servicing Fanuc robots and experience in paint spraying robot applications. This role requires hands-on involvement in repair activities and troubleshooting, providing critical support to ensure smooth operations in a manufacturing plant environment.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain Fanuc robot equipment, focusing on both mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance.
- Leverage over 3 years of experience in paint spraying robots applications, such as P500, P700, and P1000.
- Participate in repair activities during off-shifts, including Sundays and scheduled downtimes.
- Collaborate closely with unionized personnel and skilled trades during equipment repairs.
- Support troubleshooting and provide first-call support during regular downtime calls in the assigned shift.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in paint processing through robot programming.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing Fanuc robots.
- Experience in paint spraying robots applications.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, robotics, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work effectively in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Fanuc robotics is required.
- Experience in controls, maintenance, and manufacturing processes.
Work Environment
This position is based on-site at a manufacturing plant. The role demands flexibility to work across different shifts and includes direct collaboration with skilled trades and unionized personnel. The dress code is standard for a manufacturing setting, and the candidate should be prepared for hands-on work in an industrial environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Arlington, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
