Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for a contract role near Portland, TN. In this role, you will program and troubleshoot PLCs for injection molding machines and provide support for expansion projects from a Controls Engineering perspective. This is a W2 contract that will pay 1.5x for OT and offers full benefits. There is a possibility that this could turn into a long-term opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for injection molding machines.
- Commission machines.
- Provide expansion and project support from a Controls Engineering perspective.
- Collaborate with the full-time Controls Engineering team to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to programming PLC systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of controls engineering and electrical systems.
- 5 years of experience programming PLC systems.
- Demonstrated experience working on large projects from a Controls/PLC perspective within a manufacturing setting.
- Commissioning experience is preferred

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
