Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for a contract role near Portland, TN. In this role, you will program and troubleshoot PLCs for injection molding machines and provide support for expansion projects from a Controls Engineering perspective. This is a W2 contract that will pay 1.5x for OT and offers full benefits. There is a possibility that this could turn into a long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot PLCs for injection molding machines.
• Commission machines.
• Provide expansion and project support from a Controls Engineering perspective.
• Collaborate with the full-time Controls Engineering team to ensure seamless operations.
• Contribute to programming PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of controls engineering and electrical systems.
• 5 years of experience programming PLC systems.
• Demonstrated experience working on large projects from a Controls/PLC perspective within a manufacturing setting.
• Commissioning experience is preferred

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, TN.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Portland,TN.
