Construction Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor with a strong background in concrete and asphalt construction to lead both field operations and office teams. This role is ideal for a natural leader who has worked as a Superintendent and is comfortable managing multiple projects while supporting and directing office staff.

The Construction Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards, while also providing leadership, coordination, and accountability across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple active construction projects involving concrete and asphalt work
• Split time evenly between the office and the field to ensure alignment, communication, and execution
• Provide direct leadership to field crews, superintendents, and office staff
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials across projects
• Serve as the main point of contact between field operations and office teams
• Ensure projects are completed in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications
• Review project schedules, budgets, and progress reports; proactively address issues and risks
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a strong culture of accountability and teamwork
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support field leadership
• Participate in planning meetings, project reviews, and operational strategy discussions

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, Supervisor, or similar leadership role
• Strong background in concrete and asphalt construction
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated experience leading both field teams and office-based teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance hands-on field leadership with office-based planning and coordination
• Solid understanding of construction schedules, safety standards, and project execution
• Natural leadership style with the ability to motivate and guide teams

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a supervisory or operations leadership role
• Experience working closely with project managers, estimators, and administrative teams
• Strong knowledge of local construction practices and regulations

Work Environment

Primarily office-based with occasional site visits. The environment is fast-paced with frequent communication between field and office. The role may require extended hours during peak construction periods. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 4 or 5 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madera, CA.

The pay range for this position is $114000.00 - $145600.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Madera,CA.
