  • Update and maintain construction schedules, track project milestones, and monitor progress against established project goals.
  • Track productivity and performance metrics to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Coordinate with on-site construction crews and subcontractors to support safe work practices, quality workmanship, and adherence to project schedules.

  • Ability to proactively problem-solve and anticipate internal stakeholder needs.
  • Capability to read and interpret construction prints and drawings.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, documentation, and schedules simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with office staff, field crews, and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and related applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Why Apply?

  • Support long‑term transmission, substation, and grid modernization projects backed by strong multi‑year capital investment and a healthy regional backlog.
  • Join a nationally recognized utility contractor with more than 60 years of experience and a strong reputation for safety, quality, and execution.
  • Gain hands‑on, highly marketable utility construction experience, including exposure to high‑voltage transmission, substations, protection & control, civil/foundation work, and energized utility environments.
  • Work in a primarily office‑based role in Fort Wayne, IN, with minimal travel compared to typical construction positions.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineering teams to gain exposure across the full project lifecycle.
