I’m currently staffing a Construction Inspector role supporting a large infrastructure project in 📍Lyons Falls, New York. We're hiring Construction Inspectors to support a long-term transmission and energy project that is helping modernize critical infrastructure across New York State.

What the role looks like:

• On-site oversight of contractor and subcontractor construction activities
• Daily progress documentation, field logs, and photo reporting
• Coordinating between contractors, project management, and engineering teams
• Identifying and communicating construction issues or deviations from plans
• Supporting safety compliance on an active field site
• Per Diem offered x OT

Who we’re looking for

• 3 years in construction inspection, field engineering, QA/QC, or similar
• Comfortable on active construction sites and working with contractors
• Able to read basic construction drawings and specs (training available)
• Pipeline or utility experience is a plus but not a requirement

Work Environment

This is a field-based role on active construction sites across New York State, supporting large, visible infrastructure projects in energy, utilities, and transmission systems. You work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions and must be comfortable navigating active work zones, equipment, and changing site environments. The position offers exposure to a wide range of project types, contractors, and site conditions, providing faster skill development than working on a single static site. Overtime or extended hours may be required during peak construction activity to meet project needs. You will regularly use basic technology such as the Microsoft Office suite and field documentation tools, and you are expected to follow all site safety protocols and standards while maintaining a professional appearance appropriate for construction environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
