Job Description

We are seeking a Concrete Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on supporting and expanding our self-perform concrete division, managing hard-bid concrete scopes, and driving efficiency and accountability within our crews.

Responsibilities

• Remove estimating and project management burdens from sr. management.
• Improve production efficiency and schedule adherence.
• Enable future growth of the concrete group beyond current project management.
• Handle hard-bid concrete scopes such as curbs, sidewalks, flatwork, foundations, walls, splash pads, basketball courts, and wastewater/water treatment concrete.
• Coordinate manpower needs by allocating resources appropriately.
• Conduct jobsite visits to monitor quality, schedule adherence, and safety compliance.
• Drive production efficiency and accountability within self-perform crews.
• Use historical data and internal estimators for accurate bidding.

Essential Skills

• 3–5 years in a concrete Project Manager/Estimator role.
• Concrete estimating experience (self-perform required).
• Concrete project management experience with complete ownership from start to finish.
• Experience with hard-bid concrete packages and self-perform crews.
• Comfortable in a field and office hybrid role.
• Ability to work independently in a new role with limited formal training.
• Non-residential experience in commercial, civil, or institutional projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment and wastewater projects.
• ACI certification is a plus.
• Any additional certifications are advantageous.

Work Environment

This role involves both on-site and in-office work, with the office located at a warehouse at the end of the block from the main office. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
