Commissioning Manager

We are seeking a Commissioning Manager experienced in new construction projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with Owners Representatives and Vendors during the installation and startup of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage commissioning projects, ensuring they adhere to budget and schedule.
• Work collaboratively with installation subtrades to ensure project goals are met.
• Review and approve work packages by contractors, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety guidelines.
• Prepare field work packages for self-performed scopes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Process submittals and quickly adapt to new computer applications.

• Experience in construction and supervisory roles on large projects.
• Specific experience with commissioning projects.
• Experience working with Field Installation Work Packages.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of HVAC, piping, and control systems.

• Experience using BIM 360 and project management software.
• Strong understanding of construction projects.
• Good communication skills.

The role is based on an active new commercial construction site in Summerville, where you will support two projects simultaneously. One project is currently underway, while the other is in the sub-phase. The work environment involves a high-profile project that offers significant experience and growth opportunities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
