CMM Programmer

Job Title: CMM Programmer (Hybrid Flexibility offered)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metrologist/CMM Programmer to join our team and support our inspection programs. This role involves creating inspection programs for large complex equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software from Model Based Definition and 2D drawings.
• Create and import dimensional inspection plans, transitioning most inspection plans from Excel files.
• Collaborate with engineering to analyze and interpret blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals, and other materials to determine specific testing procedures and certification methods.
• Familiarize with programming processes, system, debug, coding, and facilitate necessary collaborations with Zeiss.
• Transition dimensional inspection plans from Excel to client specific software to support engineering.
• Read and understand complex mechanical drawings and 3D models.
• Work closely with the Engineering Department on related issues.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Metrology, Calypso, and CMM.
• Working with large complex equipment

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work on the production floor, measuring equipment and collaborating cross-functionally with all manufacturing teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jupiter, FL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
