CTMS Administrator Lead (OnCore)

Role Overview

This role provides both technical leadership and people management, overseeing the OnCore environment across multiple schools,

hospitals, and research centers. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on OnCore implementation experience beyond calendar build and has a proven track

record supervising staff and leading CTMS rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of OnCore across the research enterprise
• Provide direct supervision and functional leadership to assigned staff
• Oversee workstation and server environments supporting CTMS and research systems
• Evaluate, implement, and maintain system software and hardware solutions aligned with research needs
• Develop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor system performance and manage upgrades, patches, backups, and recovery operations
• Partner with investigators, administrators, and leadership to resolve complex system issues
• Ensure compliance with security standards, software licensing, and institutional policies

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE background supporting CTMS platforms, clinical research operations, or academic medical centers
• Demonstrated experience implementing OnCore within an academic or research setting
• Leadership or management experience, including oversight of staff
• Experience beyond OnCore calendar build (must include operational ownership and team supervision)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
• 4 years of relevant systems or research IT experience
• Experience with Clinical Conductor (not required)
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification (not required)

This is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, MS.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
