Job Description
As a Clinical Trial Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in preparing, negotiating, and executing a variety of agreements related to clinical trials. You will collaborate closely with Clinical Operations, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and Clinical Development & Medical Affairs teams. Your expertise will be vital in building clinical trial site budgets, ensuring high-quality allocations within fair market values, and developing payment strategies. You will also drive the development and maintenance of Site Fee Frameworks and manage payments within grants.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, negotiate, and execute a variety of agreements.
- Review contract language and prepare responses for contract modifications.
- Maintain contract files and systems.
- Build clinical trial site budgets and ensure allocations are within fair market values.
- Analyze protocol flowcharts to create costing, payment strategies, and budget estimates.
- Develop and maintain Site Fee Frameworks.
- Set up, close, re-open, and submit payments within all grants.
- Use budget-specific and trial metrics to report on and analyze performance.
- Identify and execute strategies for continuous improvement in the Budget group.
- Stay current with industry standards and trends related to budget best practices.
- Interface with Medical, TAs, Finance, Legal, and external parties like investigators.
- Liaise with Clinical Trial Manager and TA Lead for budget review and approval.
- Collaborate with Clinical Finance/Accounting and Legal for payment-related decisions.
- Represent Contract/Budget group processes in local/global working groups.
- Ensure commitment to customer-centric behaviors and maintain high responsiveness.

The role requires effective use of budget-specific tools and metrics to report and analyze performance. The position demands high responsiveness to internal and external requests, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
This is a Contract position based out of Ridgefield, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $69.17/hr.
