Clinical Research Budget Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with study sponsors to establish financial terms for research projects, providing guidance to project leaders and internal teams to ensure appropriate allocation of resources.
• Secures mutually acceptable rate adjustments for various technical and professional services by coordinating with relevant clinical and research departments.
• Monitors revenue activity and enrollment progress for a large portfolio of clinical studies—typically more than 75 annually—to confirm that agreed-upon budgets, timelines, and deliverables remain on track.
• Issues billing to sponsors based on predefined project milestones and ensures timely follow‑through on financial commitments.
• Updates and revises study budgets in response to protocol modifications or changes in project scope.
• Partners with administrative groups to oversee the flow, prioritization, and tracking of clinical research agreements throughout the study lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of clinical trial/healthcare finance experience
• Experience with developing and negotiating budgets

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $39.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Cleveland,OH.
