What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Project Manager position at Actalent?
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to join our team supporting studies focused on Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of medical device clinical project management experience and should be willing to travel as needed for site visits and corporate meetings within the US.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and conduct multiple projects, including managing project timelines, study budgets, and initial study designs.
- Ensure the delivery of study requirements in accordance with the protocol and regulations such as GCP and ISO, as well as site needs and project timelines.
- Apply principles, concepts, and techniques for effective and proactive project management of clinical studies.
- Balance resource constraints such as time, money, people, and equipment against deliverables.
- Develop clinical study budgets and assist in quarterly departmental budgeting with input from higher-level clinical experts as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to recommend and implement methods for process improvements and addressing issues within the clinical operations department.
- Implement and maintain risk-based monitoring processes to ensure efficient and effective study management.
- Oversee and review data and monitoring reports for protocol violations and serious deviations, addressing them proactively to maintain protocol and regulatory compliance.
- Train and mentor junior staff on monitoring, internal procedures, and query resolution to ensure alignment and GCP compliance.
- Experience in clinical trials, project management, vendor management, and clinical study management.
- Medical device project management experience.
- Thorough knowledge of international regulations and guidelines, including ISO14155, GCP, and FDA.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated high work commitment, motivation, and perseverance with attention to detail.
- Knowledgeable in the field of neuromodulation or Obstructive Sleep Apnea is a plus.
- Solution-oriented with a natural ability to handle unexpected situations and implement the best solutions.
This role offers a remote work environment with the requirement for travel as needed. The company values contributions and recognizes individual efforts, offering a lighter workload with only two studies to manage.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
