Cleanroom Technician

The position involves performing assembly, inspection, labeling, and packaging operations within a white room environment. The role requires strict adherence to approved work instructions and travelers while maintaining compliance with gowning and white room behavior protocols. The technician is responsible for accurately recording production data, verifying lot numbers, and ensuring traceability information and labeling accuracy.

• Conduct in-process inspections and escalate quality concerns immediately.
• Support line clearance and product changeover activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and environmental control standards.
• Assist in training new operators on white room procedures and documentation practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation of controlled materials.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• Experience in cleanroom operations and assembly.
• Familiarity with medical device inspection and packaging.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in controlled environment operations or regulated production.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow controlled procedures.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and measurement verification.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

• Experience with packaging processes.
• Ability to follow processes thoroughly.
• Reliable and dependable.

The technician will work in a cleanroom environment with one to two other people. The role requires maintaining strict cleanliness and environmental control standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joliet, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Joliet,IL.
