Job Description

This role requires mastery in land development design, including producing site layouts, plans and profiles, grading plans, stormwater management reports, drainage calculations, pump calculations, water and sewer line design, and road design. The successful candidate will prepare and review construction documents, engineering plans, and specifications, ensuring all designs meet technical standards and project requirements with minimal supervision. You will coordinate with project team members to ensure smooth project execution from conception to completion and communicate directly with clients to provide detailed project updates. Additionally, you will coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits, as well as provide expert testimony at various municipal and county boards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review construction documents, engineering plans, and specifications.
• Ensure all designs meet technical standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide detailed project updates.
• Coordinate project submittals and facilitate regulatory agency approvals.
• Obtain construction permits and provide expert testimony at municipal and county boards.
• Communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs.
• Produce reports in technical writing format.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies for project approvals.

Essential Skills

• Mastery in land development design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience in stormwater and site development.
• Must have civil design experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

This is a Permanent position based out of Edison, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
