Job Title: Civil Designer

Job Description

Collaborate closely with civil engineers to produce precise drawings and models using Open Roads Designer (ORD), MicroStation/Geopak, ArcGIS, or other specified software. Ensure all drawings adhere to company design standards and are accurate and complete. Prepare drawings for review and feedback, and support the creation of technical reports, plans, specifications, and related documents. Work on municipal transportation projects and IDOT projects.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Experience in civil drafting, CAD, and design.
• Must have transportation design/drafting experience (e.g., Roadway Design, Bridge and Tunnel Design, Railway Systems).
• Experience using Bentley software (Microstation/GeoPak, Open Roads Designer, or ArcGIS) or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred but not required.
• 0-3 years of experience (consideration given to new graduates with an AS or BS).

Work Environment

Initially, work will be fully onsite until productivity is established, after which a hybrid option will be available. No travel is required. The team includes two other technicians. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55762.00 - $77584.00/yr.
