Job Description
The Civil Construction Superintendent oversees and coordinates all civil construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all civil construction activities on-site.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate with crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively.
- Interpret and implement blueprints and technical documents.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction supervision.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
- OSHA safety certification preferred.
- Experience with project management, electrical, plumbing, and subcontractor management.
- Familiarity with Autocad, earthworks, concrete, site construction, and grading.
- Knowledge of commercial construction and electrical wiring.
The position offers a balanced work schedule with four 10-hour days, allowing you to be home every night. The role includes access to a company vehicle. Work takes place in both office and field environments, requiring adaptability to varying conditions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Memphis, AR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
