Job Description
This role supports site development projects for a variety of commercial, residential, and mixed‑use developments. The position involves preparing site design plans for new construction and redevelopment projects, covering work from initial site layout through permitting, construction documentation, and implementation. The designer will contribute to multiple aspects of site development, including grading, paving, drainage, and utility coordination.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed site development design plans for new construction and redevelopment projects.
- Develop grading, paving, drainage, and utility layouts to support overall site functionality.
- Assist with the design of water, sewer, and other underground utilities as required.
- Coordinate with engineers and project team members to support technical calculations and design standards.
- Manage design tasks and documentation from early concept through final construction plans.
- Ensure designs align with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil/site design software.
- 5 years of experience in site development design for commercial, residential, or land development projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to independently manage site design tasks from start to finish.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richardson, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
