A civil engineering consulting firm specializing in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure is seeking a Civil CAD Technician to support the production of construction drawings for public infrastructure projects. This role offers long-term stability within a recession-resistant industry and the opportunity to contribute to essential public systems.

The Civil CAD Technician will work closely with engineers and project managers, providing hands-on drafting support using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce civil construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Prepare plan sets, profiles, details, and design exhibits
• Support engineers and project managers throughout the design process
• Assist with quantity take-offs and design coordination
• Participate in occasional site visits or field verification, as needed
• Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented drafting environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D in a professional setting
• Familiarity with civil construction drawings and plan production
• Exposure to municipal, utility, roadway, or site development projects preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate within a design team

This is a Permanent position based out of Southport, IN.

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $45.00/hr.
