We are seeking an entry-level Chemistry Lab Technician to join our Quality Control Lab team. This role involves sample preparation, stability chamber work, and data entry into our quality/data integrity systems. You will support Chemists and Scientists in achieving their testing goals and perform administrative tasks such as cleaning and preventative maintenance of the lab.
Responsibilities- Prepare samples and work with stability chambers.
- Enter data into quality/data integrity systems.
- Assist Chemists and Scientists with testing objectives.
- Conduct administrative tasks including lab cleaning and maintenance.
- Perform pH testing, titrations, gravity testing, viscosity measurements, pipetting, and sample transfers.
- Proficiency in laboratory sciences and pipetting.
- Experience with pH testing, weighing, and lab maintenance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of chemistry principles and lab testing.
- Understanding of preventative lab maintenance and chemical handling.
- Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- A degree in Chemistry is preferred.
- Lab experience from academic settings is beneficial.
This position is within the Quality Control Lab, where you will work alongside a close-knit team of 21 lab members. You will collaborate with other teams in Quality Assurance. The role is a first-shift position in a lab equipped with brand-new instrumentation and facilities, reflecting a significant investment in the lab's infrastructure. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
