What You’ll Do
- Take the lead in the first scrub role, assisting surgeons with precision and skill.
- Anticipate surgical needs and ensure the sterile field is perfectly maintained.
- Collaborate with RNs to account for instruments and supplies according to strict protocols.
- Prepare, mix, and label medications and solutions for the sterile field.
- Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and post-op dressing applications.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient operating room environment.
- Be ready to take independent call within 12 months of hire.
What We’re Looking For
- Certification: Current Certified Surgical Technologist (or eligible within 6 months).
- Training: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to excellence in patient care.
- Requirements: Current BLS/CPR for adults, children, and infants.
- Bonus: A passion for pediatric care and a commitment to lifelong learning (15 CE credits annually).
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday rotating shifts (40 hours/week).
- On-call rotation required.
