Medical Assistant

Job Description

Join a dynamic healthcare team specializing in serving rural communities and providing specialty care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play an integral role in patient care and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operation within the practice.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information accurately.
• Receive and manage incoming phone calls.
• Communicate effectively with patients by calling them back as necessary.
• Conduct Point of Care (POC) testing.
• Room patients efficiently and ensure their comfort.

Essential Skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant (MA).
• Experience in family practice settings.
• Ability to accurately measure and record blood pressure and vital signs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
