Job Description
Join our team as a Calibration Technician in Longmont, CO, where you'll work onsite in an exciting expansion setting. This role requires hands-on expertise in calibration, preventive maintenance, and testing equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy in our processes.
Responsibilities
- Complete calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with accurate and timely GxP documentation, adhering to company or client-specific policies and procedures.
- Perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations with guidance.
- Handle and maintain company and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment.
- Learn to troubleshoot and perform repairs, focusing primarily on scheduled calibrations and maintenance events.
- Assess project safety concerns proactively and ensure compliance with all client site safety requirements.
- Strategically evaluate client environments, needs, and requirements to develop and initiate effective solutions.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of calibration experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and calibration, including conductivity, humidity, temperature checks, and pH.
- Experience with process equipment, utilities, and some lab instruments.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Proficiency in loop checks, temperature, pressure, and pH calibrations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent military training.
- Quality System/Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
- Expanded understanding of Traceability, Substitution of Standards, and Test Accuracy and Uncertainty Ratios.
- Basic understanding and application of GMP's and Life Science Industry regulations.
- Thorough electrical panel knowledge and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite role in an expansion setting, offering exposure to complex calibrations and challenges as you support greenfield facility builds and site expansions. The schedule is Monday to Friday during the day, with potential availability adjustments as the project advances.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Longmont, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $42.00/hr.
