This role involves creating precise technical drawings, collaborating with engineers and clients, and ensuring all designs meet safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for custom pool covers and liners based on client specifications and site measurements.
- Interpret engineering plans to integrate pool cover and liner designs.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and field changes.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and company guidelines.
- Assist in estimating material quantities and costs for custom designs.
- Support the development of installation guides and fabrication instructions.
- At least 8 years of drafting experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Strong understanding of design and drafting processes.
- Experience in interpreting engineering plans and integrating designs.
