Job Description
Join our team as an Electrical Drafter, where you will utilize AutoCAD to contribute to new substation projects, upgrade existing substations, and perform maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed electrical drafting using AutoCAD for substation projects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to update and maintain construction drawings.
- Engage in drafting for both new and upgraded substations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity in project requirements.
- Pose questions and seek guidance to enhance understanding and project outcomes.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong drafting skills in substation projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, Civil drafting, and construction drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to ask questions and exhibit leadership qualities.
- 0 to 5 years of drafting experience, with flexibility for entry-level or experienced candidates.
- Experience in consulting or utilities industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of additional design software such as MicroStation or Inventor is beneficial.
- Strong desire to learn and understand design decisions.
- Technologically savvy and able to utilize available tools efficiently.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
