Job Description
The BIM Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring CAD design standards and procedures to meet client needs and align with company goals. This role involves providing oversight regarding CAD solutions and software. The BIM Manager reports to the Executive Vice President and is responsible for proposing enhancements and managing CAD technology, procedures, and execution strategies to enable company efficiency and growth. Active engagement with all departments is essential to provide consultative guidance, suggestions, and solutions that accommodate design needs and maximize project efficiency using existing and new software.

The team comprises 1 Department Manager (PE), 1 Senior Engineer (PE), 2 Engineers (both PEs), and 1 Senior Structural Designer. This is an in-office position based in Midlothian, VA. The work schedule is Monday through Friday. The company has a family-oriented culture and operates as a private, family-owned, heavy industrial engineering and design consulting firm.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.08/hr.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) projects and maintain ACC space.
- Create and apply procedures using BIM best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements.
- Provide project management duties for applicable projects and manage associated staff.
- Engage with all departments to offer consultative guidance for design needs.
- Propose and manage enhancements to CAD technology and procedures.
- 6 years of heavy industrial experience.
- Current working knowledge of CAD software, including Autodesk products, Microstation, and Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of relevant risk management issues, such as contractual terms and technical feasibility.
- Proven technical and business writing skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be results-oriented and a team player.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S., pass a drug and background test, and have a valid driver's license.
