The Automation Engineer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC and HMI programs for production and utility systems in a regulated environment. This role requires adherence to documentation practices within compliance under FDA 21 CFR Part 11. The engineer will work with Rockwell automation platforms, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx, and FactoryTalk applications. The primary focus will be on daily troubleshooting and sustaining the systems rather than new program development.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
- Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 documentation practices.
- Work with Rockwell automation platforms such as ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx, and FactoryTalk applications.
- Focus on daily troubleshooting and sustaining of existing systems.
- Collaborate with a team to keep the facility operational and integrate new automated equipment.
- Proficiency in automation and PLC programming.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and controls engineering.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell automation systems.
- HMI programming and PLC troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation.
- 3 years of experience with troubleshooting PLC's and HMI programs.
- 3 years of experience in the development of PLC and HMI programs.
- 3 years of experience working in a regulated environment with documentation.
