Assistant Superintendent

A leading concrete repair contractor is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to manage restoration projects. The role involves overseeing multiple projects from inception to completion, leading various foremen, and ensuring site safety and compliance.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
• Lead and oversee multiple foremen on various job sites.
• Handle RFIs, change orders, and submittals efficiently.
• Ensure job site safety and conduct regular toolbox talks.
• Oversee the repair of full-depth or spalled concrete, expansion joints, and waterproofing.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) details.
• Utilize Procore for project management.
• Conduct 2-week lookahead planning and manage quantities and materials.

• 3-10 years of experience in concrete repair and construction management.
• Strong understanding of the base scope of work for concrete repair.
• Proven background in managing people and multiple job sites.
• Experience with RFIs, change orders, submittals, and Procore.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

• background in construction management.
• Experience as a foreman is a nice-to-have.

The position requires working on-site five days a week. The company is a growing firm with projects across New Jersey and New York. The work environment emphasizes safety and efficient project management using modern tools and techniques.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randolph, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
