Assistant Superintendent

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for scheduling subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects. They perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed and communicate with the project team about ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals.

• Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
• Maintain a daily log of activities on the job site.
• Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team.
• Walk all units on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
• Schedule and conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work.
• Communicate issues of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling.
• Ensure that the job site is always kept clean and organized.
• Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

• 5 years of experience in commercial construction or multi-family housing.
• Proficiency in change order and subcontractor management.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Procore, Autodesk Build, and Smartsheet.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for entering time and communication by email.
• Preferred: Successfully completed OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour courses.

This is a site-based role for local projects within a 3-hour radius. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, encouraging innovation and growth. All departments are broken into teams to promote mentorship and collaboration within the office, which is located in a great space in the heart of Louisville.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $52.00/hr.
