What You’ll Do
You’ll support critical project controls functions that drive project success:
Project Controls & Reporting
- Assist in cost tracking, forecasting, and change management
- Support progress measurement and performance reporting
- Maintain accurate project data in enterprise systems
Scheduling & Planning
- Help develop and update project schedules
- Apply logic and dependencies to ensure realistic timelines
- Support resource planning (labor, equipment, materials)
Financial & Data Management
- Assist with cost reports, forecasting, and cash flow projections
- Track purchase orders, contracts, and change orders
- Contribute to earned value management and performance tracking
Analysis & Field Support
- Verify project progress and reporting accuracy
- Participate in field audits and quality checks
- Help build visual reporting tools like dashboards and progress curves
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to visit project sites and learn hands-on
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools
- Exposure to project controls, cost management, or scheduling
- Interest in Power BI or data visualization tools
- Experience with utility or energy-related projects
Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39.00 - $40.00/hr.
