Job Title: Aseptic Pharmaceutical Fill Technician

Perform all procedures and processes for the filling of sterile products and ensure the cleanliness of the aseptic process area. Prepare components for use in sterile filling, and set up and operate equipment such as filling machines, filler parts, powder recovery systems, vial washers, and parts assembly pre-sterilization according to standard operating procedures. Employ aseptic techniques while working in a clean room/ISO-rated environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize walls, equipment, and floors following SOPs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Operate equipment, including turntables, filling machines, sterilizing tunnels, vial washers, and conveyors, to complete operations per SOP.
• Operate autoclaves to steam sterilize components and machine parts.
• Obtain appropriate components per documentation and handle them per SOPs.
• Participate in training programs to maintain qualification status for working in aseptic areas.
• Potentially qualify for Quality Control environmental monitoring tasks.
• Interact with other technicians to learn processes.

• Proficiency in cleanroom operations.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Knowledge and application of aseptic techniques.
• Experience in sterile processing and quality control.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in Sciences or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: One to three years in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment performing similar duties.
• Prior experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
• Mechanically inclined self-starter with strong attention to detail.

Work is conducted in a clean room environment. The position is for the 3rd shift, with hours from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., and includes a 15% pay differential. Candidates must be flexible for additional workdays per week and/or additional hours per day. Initial orientation and on-the-job training occur on the 1st shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $47840.00/yr.
