Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Junior Project Manager who excels in communication and relationship building with internal teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing communications, supporting finance and project administration, and assisting workstream owners with meeting logistics and status tracking. This role requires experience in architecture, engineering, or design, along with strong project coordination and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own communications, including flash email updates, WIKI development, and weekly updates.
• Provide finance and project administration support, including vendor and financial support for operational planning.
• Support workstream owners with meeting organization, invitations, and taking excellent meeting notes.
• Collect weekly team updates and assist the Project Manager with status tracking.
• Identify risk factors for projects and report on project successes or blockers.
• Ensure invoices are correct and track them towards Purchase Orders.
• Take detailed meeting notes and summarize main points and action items.

Essential Skills

• Project coordination and management experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, or design.
• Ability to identify risk factors in projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Excel, Smartsheet, and Asana/Jira.
• Experience reporting on project successes or blockers.
• Ability to take and summarize detailed meeting notes.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, with the requirement to support Pacific Standard Time hours. The role involves supporting multiple stakeholders and working with initiative leads on a special project that includes several small projects aimed at executing and developing a new strategy.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
