Architect

Job Summary:

Architecture firm seeking a licensed Architect with 5–10 years of experience to support commercial architectural projects. This role works independently and as part of a project team on design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction phase support.

Responsibilities:

• Develop schematic designs and design concepts for client review
• Coordinate designs with consultants and suppliers
• Prepare construction documents for permitting and construction
• Support projects through all phases from design to construction
• Coordinate with jurisdictions during due diligence, permitting, and construction
• Provide site survey support and assist with as-built documentation
• Manage project data and document issuances using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Support construction activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, site visits, and field reports
• Research materials and products to support practical and sustainable design solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients

Qualifications:

• Licensed Architect in at least one state
• 5–10 years of professional experience on commercial projects
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to clearly communicate design intent and technical details
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Working knowledge of building codes and permitting processes
• Experience coordinating with consultants across multiple disciplines
• Understanding of interior detailing and general exterior detailing

Software Skills:

• Revit (required)
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Autodesk AEC Collection and ACC
• InDesign, Photoshop
• Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Matterport or Leica scanning
• LEED and/or WELL credentials
• Experience with sustainable design practices

Experience Level:

• Mid-Level / Intermediate

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blue Ash, OH.

The pay range for this position is $52.89 - $60.19/hr.
