Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Architecture

Job Description

We are seeking a self-starter, talented, enthusiastic, and technically proficient Assistant Project Manager with demonstrated capabilities in building design and production. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative design environment and have experience working with a diverse portfolio of building types, including governmental buildings, educational facilities, and healthcare establishments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and supervise the production of design and contract documents for various building types.
• Coordinate with staff to meet project goals, objectives, and schedules.
• Assist in project management tasks, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Manage relationships with design consultants, owner representatives, public officials, and review officials.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of project documents.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and production, including municipal/public projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong sketching and freehand drawing skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to generate and deliver effective presentations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Revit is essential for production tasks.
• Ability to take projects from start to finish.
• Understanding of how to put a building together, including public works, government, educational, healthcare, and public safety projects.
• Preferably on track to get an architectural license.

Work Environment

The firm operates with a relaxed working environment, emphasizing employee well-being. The expectation is to be in the office 5 days a week for 40 hours, but flexibility is earned. Employees are rarely required to work late or take work home. Enjoy Summer Fridays from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, with hours from Monday to Thursday 8am to 6pm and Friday 8am to 12pm. This is a Contract position based out of Boca Raton, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $45.67/hr.
