What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architect position at Actalent?
A full-service architecture firm located in Naperville is looking to add an Architect to their team!
Job Description:
- Lead technical development of architectural projects from schematic design through construction documentation
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design goals, schedule, and quality are achieved
- Prepare and coordinate detailed construction documents with a strong emphasis on code compliance and technical accuracy
- Provide support and mentorship to junior team members and drafters
- Participate in internal reviews and coordination meetings to ensure quality and consistency across all deliverables
- Contribute to the design process and ensure the successful translation of design intent into detailed documents
- Assist in coordinating with consultants (MEP, structural, civil, etc.) throughout all design phases
Qualifications:
- 5 years of architectural experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Architect or Job Captain
- Experience with ground-up buildings and major renovations, particularly in auto dealership, office, or multifamily markets
- Licensed Architect preferred or actively pursuing licensure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit is highly preferred
This is a Permanent position based out of Naperville, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
