Jr. Applications Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop system components to meet global application requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define product specifications for new programs.
- Work with suppliers to optimize designs for performance, reliability, and cost.
- Guide off-site engineering teams in analysis and detailing tasks.
- Conduct design FMEAs and develop validation requirements.
- Create and execute product validation plans.
- Analyze field data to resolve product issues.
- Maintain detailed project plans and conduct design reviews.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation.
- Communicate technical information across teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in practical environments.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Work Environment
This is an onsite, first-shift position. The role involves significant collaboration with suppliers.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
