Application Engineer

Serve as a technical liaison between customers and the sales team, dedicating 60% of your time at customer sites and 40% in the office. Focus on supporting the engineering team with drawings and product testing, and engage in the design and implementation of advanced wire and cable technologies for multiple industries.

• Act as the technical liaison between customers and the sales team.
• Spend 60% of your time at customer sites and 40% in the office.
• Design and develop wire, cable, and cable assemblies tailored to customer requirements.
• Create and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare technical quotations, approval drawings, and pricing.
• Support manufacturing and quality teams to ensure compliance and delivery.
• Utilize CAD software for product testing.

• Technical support experience.
• Expertise in wire harness design.
• Proficiency in engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of electrical interconnects.
• Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with CAD software.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred; not strictly required).
• Willingness to travel 40%–60% locally.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, CO.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $57.00/hr.
