Job Description
Join a premier manufacturer and supplier of temperature sensors, electrical enclosures, and electro-mechanical assembly services for industrial applications as a Sales Specialist. This role supports the Sales Department by planning and implementing sales activities and undertaking a variety of technical sales and support duties. You will be responsible for translating customer needs and specifications into sales proposals and quotations to maximize sales and margin growth. Work both independently and as part of a team, reporting to the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain successful customer relationships.
- Satisfy customer and prospect inquiries with solution-oriented and timely proposals.
- Review customer specifications to determine equipment specifications, features, and special requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical staff to clarify customer needs and develop specifications.
- Provide strategic product recommendations, pricing, and solutions to meet customer needs.
- Compile and write customer/prospect proposals and quotations.
- Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations.
Essential Skills
- Technical sales experience.
- Proficiency in outbound calls and quoting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northampton, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
