We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aircraft Hydraulic Product Design Engineer to lead the design and development of new hydraulic components for aircraft applications. This role involves technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support product development, testing, qualification, and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new product design and development efforts in coordination with engineering leadership.
- Ensure production readiness and timely delivery of drawings, documentation, and related data.
- Perform engineering analyses including tolerance studies, structural analysis (FEA), hydraulic analysis, and dynamic analysis.
- Develop and execute qualification test plans and procedures.
- Act as the primary technical interface with customers for new product initiatives.
- Support the transition of products from development to production.
- Provide technical direction for qualification testing and fielded product support.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
- 2–5 years of experience in product design for hydraulic components or a related field.
- Strong skills in engineering analysis and problem-solving.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $52.00/hr.
