Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Quality Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of hands-on lab involvement and administrative support within a quality-focused environment. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, supporting audits, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position spends approximately 80% of the time working in the lab, making it perfect for candidates who enjoy an active, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and assisting during audit activities
- Coordinate and track employee training sessions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Document, investigate, and report quality non-conformances
- Manage and maintain inventory for laboratory equipment and office supplies, including ordering and restocking
- Process invoices and assist with general administrative tasks to support quality operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
- Prior administrative experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a lab-based environment

This is a Contract position based out of Kankakee, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
