These systems are essential for moving wafers and cassettes throughout Fabrication Facilities (FABs), reducing manual handling while improving safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Automated Material Handling Systems Technician to join our project team. This role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining AMHS equipment, including CLW, STB, Stocker and N2-STB systems. The role requires hands-on field work in a semiconductor FAB or construction environment, supporting mechanical installation, electrical wiring, raceway installation, rail alignment, equipment anchoring, and QA documentation, and strict attention to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, align, and install AMHS components according to drawings and schematics
• Inspect and test completed work to meet quality standards
• Use tools and equipment safely and effectively to achieve accurate results
• Report malfunctions, defects, or issues promptly to supervisors
• Support troubleshooting, repairs, and basic maintenance as needed
• Document daily tasks, production times, and project updates
• Follow all OSHA, OSCA and company required safety guidelines, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) use
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• OSHA 10 certification (required)
• Technical or vocational training (preferred)
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or equipment installation (semiconductor a plus)
• Willing to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
• Skilled with mechanical tools and equipment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and MEWP, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Daifuku AMHS Systems (CLW Rail/Vehicle, CLS/CMS Stocker) experience preferred but not required

Work Conditions

• Onsite role; remote work not available
• Requires ability to work in the cleanroom environment
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Must follow all site safety rules and customer requirements

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8–10 hour shifts
