As the Sr. Director of IT, you’ll play a critical role in supporting business growth through smart, secure, and scalable technology solutions. From managing infrastructure and cybersecurity to exploring AI-powered tools and leading digital transformation projects, your leadership will drive ACS forward.
Your objectives may be similar to:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy that supports organizational growth and innovation.
- Establishing a robust cybersecurity framework to safeguard the organization’s digital assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Overseeing the day-to-day IT operations to ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Strategic Technology Leadership – Define and execute an IT roadmap aligned with ACS’s growth strategy. Partner with senior leadership to drive innovation in areas like AI, automation, and process improvement.
- Cybersecurity & Risk Oversight – Build and oversee a proactive cybersecurity framework. Conduct regular assessments, ensure compliance, and safeguard ACS’s digital assets through strong governance and incident response.
- Infrastructure & Operations – Ensure the reliability and performance of IT systems, networks, and cloud services. Oversee upgrades and improvements that minimize downtime and support business continuity.
- Team & Vendor Leadership – Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team while managing external MSPs. Set clear expectations, foster growth, and ensure service excellence.
- Project Execution & Change Management – Deliver IT projects from planning to rollout. Train users, support adoption, and manage change with minimal disruption.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven IT leadership experience (Director level or above) with a strong track record of aligning technology to business goals.
- Deep expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and system architecture — with the ability to be hands-on when needed.
- Strong background in cybersecurity and risk management (threat mitigation, incident response, compliance).
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional IT projects, delivering on time and within budget.
- Experience managing both internal IT teams and external MSPs with a collaborative, performance-driven style.
- Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex concepts to non-technical leaders and influence strategic decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP (or equivalent) are a strong plus.
- Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to apply emerging technologies (AI, automation) to drive efficiency and innovation.
