What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at ACS?
Requirements
- You are not expected to transport patient but do need to have reliable transportation to be on time for work due to replacing someone who is going to work.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, patient monitoring and documentation and reporting to family any incidents or change in physical condition
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care strategies are pluses!!!
- Allowing client to maintain dignity and having respect for people are two mandatory skills.
- This is not a come to work and get on phone kind of job. You are expected to pay attention the entire time you are getting paid.
- Smal bonus for attending all shifts each week.
Having previous experience is definitely a plus. Will train a new caregiver who shows commitment to service during interview. This is not a hard job but patience is expected as client is confused but kind, friendly, and likes to converse.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 32.0 per week
