What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piping Project Manager position at ACS System Associates?
ACS System Associates Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Piping Project Manager, to oversee and manage piping construction projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budgets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of piping construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure project compliance
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
- Manage change orders, RFI's, and project documentation
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all parties
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Construction Management, or related field and OSHA certification (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping or mechanical construction or project management
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, codes, and industry standards
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
