About the Position
ACS Scientific Inc. is seeking a full-time Chemist to join our team immediately. The role focuses on small molecule synthesis, including the preparation of new drug candidates and advanced building blocks, as well as conducting process research and scale-up activities.

Responsibilities
- Design and synthesize small molecules for drug discovery and SAR studies
- Perform process research and scale-up for APIs and intermediates
- Develop and synthesize novel building blocks targeting important diseases and high-priority research areas
- Manage multiple research projects concurrently
Qualifications
- Ph.D., Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, with 2–5 years of academic or industry experience in organic synthesis
- Expertise in synthetic methodology, multi-step synthesis, and total synthesis, with a proven record of solving complex synthetic challenges
- Proficiency with LCMS, HPLC, and NMR for reaction monitoring and compound identification
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a self-motivated, collaborative environment
- Must be located in the USA and legally authorized to work in the U.S. chemical industry
