BIM/CAD Design Technician (8629)

Overview:

Our client, a well-established architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced BIM/CAD Design Technician to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and vendors in delivering innovative projects. This role will drive consistency and ensure high-quality project delivery across a diverse portfolio, including office buildings, educational facilities, multifamily residences, hotels, restaurants, banks, retail spaces, and other high-profile developments. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA.

Pay range: $67,500 - $87,500

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project-specific Autodesk Revit files across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
• Provide Autodesk Revit technical support to multidisciplinary studio team members throughout the project design process
• Participate in QA/QC procedures to ensure project deliverables meet client and contractor requirements
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment to develop, design, and model architectural, structural, and MEP systems using Autodesk Revit
• Represent the design studio and specialized BIM/CAD discipline to support company standards and drive quality improvement

Requirements:

• Associates degree (AA or AAS) in BIM/CAD or a closely related field from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Autodesk Revit drafting and design experience in architecture, structural, or MEP systems; architectural experience is highly preferred but not required
• Additional drafting and design experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
