ACRUX Search is seeking exceptional Business Associate - Sales professionals who embody both creativity and action-oriented drive.
For those who are frustrated by a bureaucratic or slow-moving corporation where roles and innovation are often restrained, this role will be of keen interest. Key functions will include:
- Be an integral member of a small high-performing team.
- Supporting and/or leading sales for equipment/products
- Capability to support tenders and commercial proposals.
- Identifying, generating, executing, tracking and reporting sales opportunities for the business
- As a key member of the sales team, you will have the opportunity to actively support the broader business and gain exposure to the different business functions and teams.
- Manage commercial risks associated with asset transactions.
- On the road, not desk style sales
Requirements
- Previous experience in a solutions delivery, business development, sales, or technical sales role
- Confidence to meet and engage with external parties and stakeholders
- Must have mechanical aptitude, preferably in the oil and gas production, process, or drilling space
- Proactive sales-oriented focus, experience with B2B, who can work without leads, and knows how to develop their own leads.
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing product line as we don’t have a catalogue of the same products to sell repeatedly.
- Understand a wide variety of oil industry processes/systems and products or ability to learn them easily and is willing to self-educate.
- Commercially savvy, understanding of commercial risk
- Desire to create change, eliminate resource waste, deliver sustainable solutions and enable new business models
- Entrepreneurial minded individual who can demonstrate 2nd and 3rd order thinking with a hunger for innovation
- Interest in international business and developing new business opportunities in a global marketplace
- Curiosity and self-motivation to learn and develop
- Able to demonstrate high quality execution and tangible outcomes in previous roles
- Business network or relationship within the resources or other industrial sectors (Energy and Oil & Gas preferred)
- Experience in high performing teams
- Drive to create sustainable business outcomes
