Parthenon Framing is a growing fine art and custom framing studio seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who are eager to learn. We recently acquired a long-established frame shop in East Hampton and are expanding our team.
As a full-service custom framing studio, we work closely with clients to help them select the perfect frame for their artwork. This role requires a strong eye for color, design, and detail. Some picture framing experience or working with art is required. We will provide hands-on training in custom framing, glazing, conservation techniques, and other aspects of the trade.
You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with artists, photographers, designers, and collectors in a creative environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask, and enjoys working with both people and fine art. Accurate measuring, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are essential.
