Job Title:- Manufacturing Supervisor

Duration:- 12- Months- position (May go Longer)

Location:- Detroit, MI

Standard Shift:-

Group Leader Generally Assembly Production. Currently filling the position for both positions. Shift will rotate every three to four months.

Monday-Friday. Saturdays are a possibility of 2 out of 3 Saturdays work.

1 shift: 5:30am- 3:00pm.

2 shifts: 3:30pm-1am

Emergency Contact: Will depend on the shift leader.

Job Responsibilities:

• The main function of a Manufacturing Supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.
• Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
• Are there any technical skills or certifications that are highly valued for this role? Need to have somewhat analytical mindset and multitasking
• Highest completed Education? High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum years of experience required? 3 years of manufacturing experience
