Senior Principal Data Scientist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join an advanced enterprise analytics team focused on delivering AI- and machine learning–driven business solutions at scale. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade ML and Generative AI solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to solve complex problems across supply chain, manufacturing operations, workforce analytics, and logistics.The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with end-to-end ML solution ownership, modern AI/ML frameworks, and the ability to translate business requirements into impactful, production-ready analytics solutions. This role partners closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning solutions, including design, development, training, deployment, and monitoringDesign and implement Generative AI and LLM-based solutions, including Agent-based and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systemsCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable data science solutionsPerform data discovery, cleansing, preprocessing, and transformation to ensure data quality and integrityDevelop and train machine learning and deep learning models using techniques such as transformers, neural networks, and statistical modelingWork with large datasets and high-performance or distributed computing environmentsProduce clear, compelling data visualizations and insights for both technical and non-technical audiencesDeploy models using containerization (Docker) and follow CI/CD and DevOps best practicesLeverage cloud-based platforms and big data technologies to build scalable solutionsRequired Skills & Experience6 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on AI/ML and Generative AIHands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and applied use casesProven experience building Agent-based and RAG architecturesProficiency in Python and/or R, with experience using:LangChainScikit-learnTensorFlowPyTorchStrong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical inference, and data modelingExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data platforms such as DataikuExperience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflowsExposure to big data and distributed processing technologies, such as AWS Glue or Apache SparkExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsEducationBachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related fieldCompany DescriptionWith almost four decades of experience as a proven industry leader, Acro continues to be consistently recognized among the Best & Brightest Companies to Work for in the United States.
