Position Description
As a maintenance dispatcher, you will receive phone calls and gather information from requestors, then perform data entry into Maximo (CMMS). You will call the necessary technician to go and work on the maintenance issue.
Skills Required
One year data base work experience.
Excellent writting skills including good grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Deadline and detailed oriented with strong communication skills.
Skills Preferred
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair crafts used such as electrical, instrument, electronic, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, to create service call requests in the computer database
Experience Required
Experience with microsoft office and computerized maintenance management systems.
Experience Preferred
3 years of experience with scheduling and 2 years experience with a maintenance management system.
Education Required
High School or GED
